The raised GARDEN PLANTERS, installed and dedicated on February 22, are ready for planting.
Jennings McCall members will be able to plant and tend flowers and vegetables beginning this spring. Planters can easily be reached and enjoyed by everyone. Money for the accessible planters was raised by donations to Grand Lady Patti Compton's project. Masonic Lodge members helped with the construction.
The Oasis, Jennings McCall's bistro/café, offers beverages and light meals
A new dining option - and meeting place - for all Jennings McCall residents, visitors and staff is now available.
The JMC bistro café is located in the Jennings McCall I dining room. The grand piano is the focal point for the bistro, which was officially named 'The Oasis,' after resident Mary Lou McSwane's suggestion was selected.
Café tables in The Oasis provide comfortable seating for residents to enjoy an espresso, other beverages, snacks or sandwiches.
Chef Eric Anderson, head of dining services at Jennings McCall, will meet with residents the first Monday of the month for 'Chef Chat.'
Coffee and snacks are provided free for the residents' weekly 10 a.m. coffee social at The Oasis. Debit and credit cards are accepted for other purchases.
A few grocery items will also be available. Meet with family and friends at The Oasis for a cup of coffee or lunch.
